For the DynaEntreprises project, a USAID-funded micro-finance initiative, Moore Media and Marketing Group produced multimedia solutions to raise awareness to youth about HIV/AIDS. These interactive video solutions incorporated twelve short films with other text information on HIV/AIDS in a two-disc set. We created the CD interface and produced additional audio and visual material to accompany the films. The films were produced by leading African directors and are based on the ideas of young Africans. The messages of the films convey the necessity for safe sex, personal responsibility, and respect for HIV/AIDS victims. The CDs are now being distributed and shared in French and three other local languages for use in cybercafés, credit unions, Catholic schools, and other venues.
