This contract focused on a specific video production commissioned for a subsidiary of Delclos-Walsh Associates of McLean, Virginia. In addition, Moore Marketing and Media provided camera and digital edit training for an employee of DWA Energy (Jeff Walsh) so they might have the in-house capability to update web based video products and promotional tools. The project was a video that would explain the services of DWA Energy and how their new energy technology would save large institutions millions of dollars each year – institutions that included: the National Institutes of Health, US Government Agencies, colleges, and hospitals. Delclos-Walsh wished to increase their market reach using a video product that could be used for sales meetings, speeches, and on their website. We conducted on-site interviews with the key players, as well as shoot cover footage necessary to fully explain their story.
The interviews were further utilized to provide business related photographs and images to further explain difficult electrical concepts and theory.
During the production process, Jeff Walsh demonstrated an interest in video production and editing techniques. He also owns an IT business that incorporates video elements into their product services. Those video products required expensive freelance charges for production, which could not always be easily justified for many of his clients. Thus, he wanted to learn how to provide a basic level of video production service himself. Over a period of a few weeks, Moore Marketing and Media provided instruction on the camera and had him practice by shooting some extra cover footage for the DWA video. In addition to the camera instruction, we also provided training using specialized editing software.
